OLYMPIC WEEK 2010 is held under
the Sponsorship
of The Enoshima yacht club, The
Shonan Nagisa
Park Corp, Fujisawa City Yachting
Association
and Kanagawa Prefecture Youth
Yacht Club,
together with the cooperation
from the related
organization. Not only Olympic
class, 470,
Laser radial, RS:X Class, but
Laser 4.7 Snipe,
29er and 420 for young Sailor
will be held
here. This event is considered
as high-level
regatta, because the Olympic
Games, World
Championship and promising Youth
sailors
participate.
I hope the regatta could be International
Sailing race deserved ISAF Category
2.
I wish the participants will
be able to show
the skill and power achieved
by daily practice
and establish friendly relationship
through
local culture. We treasure up
environment.
Let's give our best try the clean
sea forever.

and wind, and

社団法人江の島ヨットクラブ、株式会社湘南なぎさパーク、藤沢市ヨット協会、神奈川県ユースヨットクラブのご協力のもと関係各団体の協力を得て、JSAF江の島オリンピックウィーク2010が開催されることを心より喜んでおります。
本大会は、470級、レーザー級、レーザーラジアル級、RS:X級などオリンピック種目のほかに、主として若手選手を対象とするレーザー4.7級、スナイプ級、29er級、420級の競技が行われます。オリンピックや世界選手権で活躍した選手をはじめ、ユースの有望選手が参加する極めて高い水準のレースであります。ISAFカテゴリー2の大会としてふさわしい国際的なセーリングレースとなることを、願っています。
本大会に参加するセーラーの皆様、日頃培ってきた技と力を十分に発揮し、フェアな精神で力いっぱい帆走してください。また国際交流を通して、互いの友情と親善を高め、地域文化と触れ合い、沢山の楽しい思い出を作ってください。さらに、自然環境を大切にして、いつまでもきれいな海を残すよう努力してください。
この大会が好天に恵まれ、安全にレースが実施されますことを祈念して、私のご挨拶といたします。

2010 is held at Enoshima Yacht
Harbor and
would like to welcome all competitors
and
race officers.
Many Sailors from all over the
world, France,
Singapore, Russia and Hong Kong,
will
compete in this year's race.
I think that
must
be exciting.
2011 Nov. ISAF World Championship
in Australia
serves the selection for London
Olympic. I hope each sailor will
show their
strength and skill gained by
daily training,
aiming at next yea.
This regatta started in 1977,
this year
continued 33 th, is known as
the gate to
Olympic athletes for Japanese
Sailor.
I wish all sailors will establish
friendly
relationship through this regatta.

江の島オリンピック ウィーク2010が江の島ヨットハーバーで開催されることを心よりお喜び申し上げます。
この大会に海外より参加されました選手、役員を心より歓迎します。
今年はフランス、シンガポール,ロシア、ホンコン等、多く選手が参加され素晴らしい大会となると思います。
来年１１月にオーストラリアで開催するISAF世界選手権大会は、ロンドンオリンピック予選となりますので、来年向け、この大会で、各選手が普段の練習成果を発揮されますことを期待します。
この大会も１９７７年に第１回を開催し、今年で３３回となり、日本オリンピック選手の登竜門となっています。
この大会を通じ、参加される選手皆様がお互いの友情を深めていくことを願っています。
大会開催にあたり、多くの皆様のご支援、ご協力いただいたことを感謝申し上げ、挨拶とします。

I would like to congratulate
the splendid
opening of JSAF ENOSHIMAOLYMPIC
WEEK 2010.
Kanagawa prefecture is surrounded
by a beautiful
coasting. Miyra peninsula, Shonan
Beach,
Manazuru, and Yugawara. So many
people visit
all year around to enjoy marine
sports, and
to compete
various kind of yacht race.
This regatta is supposed to be
a competitive
race for top and promising young
sailors.
I expect it is a good opportunity
to offer
a challenge of racing skill for
young sailors.
This year several kind class
added, I am
sure the event will develop and
contribute
to sailing activities.
I hope everyone will enjoy the
race, fully
displaying sailing ability cultivated
through
the daily training routines.
Also I hope the experience in
this race will
benefit to all of you, leading
to the World
and Olympic Games level.

「JSAF Enosshima Olympic Week
2010」が盛大に開催されますことを、心からお喜び申し上げます。
三浦半島から湘南海岸、真鶴、湯河原に広がる美しい海岸に恵まれた神奈川県は、四季を通じてマリンスポーツを楽しむ人々が全国から集い、セーリング競技の大会も数多く開催されています。
こうした中、江の島沖において、国内外で活躍するトップ選手とユース世代の選手が共に参加し、水準の高いレースを繰り広げる本大会は、次代を担う選手の育成に大いに寄与するとともに、今回新たな種目が加わったことでさらに充実・発展し、セーリング競技の一層の普及・振興につながるものと期待しています。
選手の皆様、練習の成果を存分に発揮し、素晴らしいレースを展開して下さい。そして、本大会をステップにして、オリンピックをはじめ世界の舞台で活躍されることを願っております。

MAYOR OF FUJISAWA CITY Welcome

I would like to express a heartily
welcome
JSAF ENOSHIMA OLYMPIC WEEK 2010
at
Fujisawa City in the brilliant
season after
hot summer, on behalf of 410,000
citizen.
Enoshima, Green Island on the
blue sea, the
symbol
of our city, is one of the most
popular spot
in Japan,
as ever year 13,000,000 tourists
visit sightseeing,
in summer 4,000,000 people come
sea bathing.
I expect the regatta will be
so competed
highly, that we can recall the
enthusiastic
scene of Tokyo Olympic Games
in 1964 here
on Sagami Bay.
This year Fujisawa City celebrate
70th anniversary.
We are proud of bright Shonan
Culture, by
local
people at sunny coast area through
sailing
and other
marine sports.
I wish this international event
could encourage
Shonan Culture activities.

藤沢市長 海老根 靖典
暑さに疲れた青海原が生気を取り戻す季節に、「ＪＳＡＦ江の島オリンピックウィーク２０１０」が盛大に開催されますことを心からお喜び申し上げます。選手、並びに関係者の皆さまを、４１万市民を代表いたしまして心から歓迎いたします。
藤沢市のシンボルである「青い海に浮かぶ緑の江の島」と湘南海岸は、夏のトップシーズンには４００万人を超える海水浴の皆さんが、年間では１,３００万人を超える観光の皆さんが訪れる、日本を代表する憩いの場です。そして１９６４年（昭和３９年）、この地で、東京オリンピックセーリング競技が開催されました。この大会でも、オリンピックを彷彿させる、セーラーたちによる熱い戦いが繰り広げられることを期待しています。
今年、藤沢市は、市制施行７０周年の区切りの年を迎えています。セーリングを始めとするマリンスポーツなど、先人が育んでこられた湘南文化をさらに発展させたいと願っておりますので、お力添えくださいますようお願いいたします。
大会の限りないご成功と、選手の皆さまのご健闘をお祈りいたします。
